Manually Signed Documents
Documents signed electronically via DocuSign will be automatically available for viewing on the DocEngine Documents tab, in the DocuSign Document column. Additionally, the Actual Closing Date for the transaction will be automatically updated in NetSuite based on the signing date.
For documents that were manually signed, the property team must indicate that the transaction has been completed by entering the Actual Closing Date, and the leasing documents must be uploaded for review and audit.
- On the Application screen, click Actual Closing Date, then complete the popup window by entering the Closing Date and relevant comments. Then click Submit.
- On the DocEngine Documents tab, click Upload under the Upload Signed Document column to add a scanned version of the signed document.
- Follow the prompts to upload the file, then click Submit.
- The upload date and the person who uploaded it now appear. If the document is fully signed, click Yes and a green highlight will appear.
- The upload date and the person who uploaded it now appear. Verify that the document was successfully uploaded and can be viewed in it's entirety, then click Pending in the Document Verification column.
- In the popup click Update Status and click ok to confirm.
- The status will change to Completed.
Both DocuSigned documents and manually signed documents that are uploaded with the process below become available for the closing team to review.
