How to resubmit applications in NetSuite
There are numerous instances where an application that was submitted may need to be updated, and in some cases, updating the application will require the application to be re-submitted. Examples of this include:
- Applicant selects a different home site, home information changes or home pricing changes. The home info and pricing changes don't sync with the current app in the system which is why resubmission is needed.
- Applicant’s name or other personal details must be updated (necessitating a new credit/background report)
- The original application was submitted more than 60 days ago, so original approval has expired
To resubmit an application:
- Locate the application that needs to be edited.
- Click New Resubmission.
- Select the applicable reason for the application to be edited/resubmitted.
- Depending on the reason selected, you will be prompted to add or update the information.
- For example:
- Click Submit, then click OK.
- The application status will update to Resubmission in Progress.
- Click Submit for Review.
The application status will update to Application Resubmitted, and the application screen will have a new tab in the left sidebar called Resubmission History that allows you to view the changes made for the resubmission. The Underwriting Team will begin reviewing the application again with the new information.
