Accepting Payment from a Customer
Checks and money orders should be scanned in `groups` and applied to customer ledgers in batches. Applying payments via Check Scanning deposits the payment at the bank and also applies the payment to the customer’s ledger. Individual check payments should only be posted directly to customer ledgers when the customer’s check cannot be successfully scanned. In those cases the checks/money orders will need to be physically taken to the bank for deposit. See Check Scanning via RentPayment for details.
