Manually Signing and Uploading a Prospectus
In rare cases, prospectuses will need to be manually signed and uploaded to NetSuite. Manual signing should only occur if the customer does not have computer access, has no email address, is experiencing a service interruption, or if there are document updates required.
Note: Currently, all properties should manually generate, sign. and complete prospectuses using a local copy and upload the completed prospectus in NetSuite. For more information on generating a lease agreement, see Generating Lease Agreements.
To manually sign and upload a prospectus:
- Navigate to Sales Process < Application < List.
- Select the appropriate application.
- Click DocEngine Documents.
- To change the signing process to Manual, click Pending under the Review Status column.
- In the Signing Process dropdown, select Manual.
- In the Manual Process Reason dropdown, select either Document Updates Required, No Computer Access, No Valid Email Address, or Service Interruption.
- Click Submit.
- To view and/or print the prospectus, click View located next to Community Lease under Doc Link/Print Link.
- Print the agreement that populates for manual signing.
- Note: Currently for manual upload, do not print the agreement shown. Instead, use the local copy of the agreement for signing.
- After signing, scroll right and click Upload under Upload Signed Document.
- Select Choose files to upload, attach the signed document, and click Submit.
- The manually signed document has been uploaded.
